It is a newspaper reading course book for foreign Chinese learners of above elementary level, proved to be effective teaching material to improve students’news reading ability. It includes two volumes, each for one semester. Articles in the 1st volume cover the topics in contemporary Chinese society. It offers deep exploration of the topic, introduces the pragmatic and discourse features of the newspaper articles. The latest language material, typical topics, mediate amount of exercises are offered, suitable for flexible use in the classroom. The texts are up-to-date; topics can be extended alongside the society development, which leaves the space for the teachers’ creativity in organizing the class. Color illustrations and clear layout are provided. The textbooks have accompanied answer keys and vocabulary list with English translation which are to be sold with the textbooks.
《时代——中级汉语报刊阅读教程》上、下册是一套专为在中国学习了一年汉语的外国学生编写的汉语报刊阅读材料。本教材可供本科二年级上下学期使用,或中级进修生中文报刊课使用,以及短期高级班报刊选修课使用。教学建议:每课分4学时(每学时45分钟)完成,上、下册各使用一个学期。
本套教材分上、下两册,每册15课,上册分4个单元,下册分5个单元,每个单元有一个综合复习。课文部分由两个部分组成,即课文一和课文二,两者的内容是相关或互补的,主要目的是让学生对相关内容的学习进入一定的深度；在教学上有分工,课文一倾向于精读,课文二倾向于泛读。
