It is written as a dialogue between the author and Bejingers, but it is also one between Chinese and Western thought on humanity's relationship with nature. I enjoyed it very much....

Excellent ... I had purchased the opening & closing ceermeonies DVDs in 2008, but they were not in anamophic widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TV. This DVD collection is in anamophic widescreen .... bravo !!...

I have read the "Secrets of a Computer Company" and "An Old Painting" in the 500-word series. The words used seem to roughly approximate the words in the HSK3 vocabulary list, so if you are studying at that level these books are excellent for practising your reading and (using the accompanying CD) listening comprehension. Great value too....

Written in the careful Chinese style of its time Li Shuxian’s book The Last Emperor of China: Puyi My Husband is well worth reading. Li Shuxian shares her insights about the times they were living in, their marriage and Pu Yi’s life after he became a regular citizen. This book is a good follow up to Puyi’s book From Emperor to Citizen....
