Being a world-famous historic and cultural city and the capital of China, Beijing is the nation's political, economic and cultural center, as well as the center of transportation and foreign communication. With a total area of 16,800 square kilometers and a population of 13,000,000, the city is one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world.
Due to the great changes occurring with each passing day, no album can accommodate all of its achievements.
