鸡鸣驿站
鸡鸣驿站位于怀来县洋河北岸的鸡鸣山下，是目前国内保存最好、规模最大、最富有特色的邮驿建筑群，具有重要的历史、艺术价值，被称为邮政考古、机要考古的一座“活化石”。
Jiming Post Station
Location: Huailai County, Zhangjiakou Jiming Post Station, located at the foot of Jiming Mountain on the north bank of the Yanghe River,Huailai County, is the largest best-preserved post station cluster in China. Its most distinctive features are of important historical and artistic value.
据《镇志·堡城图》记载： “隆庆砖修重券东西城门越城越楼各二座。” “越城”平面形状类似于故宫午门双阙式门台，城门左右各有较长墙台对称突出墙体之外，夹门而立，城门里面，门台亦突出墙外，东西两门虽无瓮城，但以双阙护门，起到了瓮城作用。
Jiming Post Station Gate Tower
Location: Jiming Post Station
This city gate has long symmetrical terraces extending out beside the gate on both sides, inside as well as outside the city wall. Although there is no barbican on the east and west gates, there are double watch-towers serving to guard the gate.
