Zhou Zhuang lies between Shanghai and Suzhou, where peope are still living in a pure and simple style. The constructions built in the ancient style can be found, and the river flows under the bridge with hundreds of houses along the bank. It is one of the ancient towns completely preserved in East China, which is known as "the Number One Waterside Town in China".
