About the Author
JIANG Liping, professor of Beijing Language and Culture University. Her main research interests include the theories of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, teaching methods, teaching materials. Prof. Jiang has published several books include Theory of Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language, Teaching Language in Chinese Class, How to Teach Foreigners Chinese. She is also the chief composer of Experiencing Chinese, a series of Chinese textbooks developed by the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban). Prof. Jiang has been to many nations and regions such as Japan, the United States, and Thailand to teach students Chinese or give lectures to Chinese teachers.
