Maomao wrote the biography of her father Deng Xiaoping during the Cultural Revolution,1966 to 1976,and ask me to translate it into English.I read the book and enjoyed it, but realized it would present difficulties to the average foreign reader.

About the author
Deng Rong,nicknamed Maomao,was born in Southwest China's Chongqing City,the fourth child of Deng Xiaoping.
After graduation from the Girls' Middle School attached to the Beijing Nromal University, she went to live and work for three years in a rural village on the loess plateau in the northern part of Northwest China's Shaanxi Province. Later,she studied medicine in and graduated from the Beijin Medical College.
