"Shanghai in the Eyes of World Artists" from September 10 to 21, 2002, was an attempt to capture the spirit of Shanghai with the paintbrush, which was a great success. 23 artists from 20 countries and regions took part in the activity and produced more than 50 paintings, each vivid in their own style, but all expressing the love and blessing for the city.
