Chinese for Children, in three volumes, is an elementary textbook designed especially for pre-school age children abroad to learn Chinese. This set of books will enable children to acquire a basic knowledge of the Chinese language (pronunciation, a 340-character vocabulary and some basic sentence patterns), and thus prepare them for future study of the Chinese language.
