"Love Chinese Readers" is a graded beginner Chinese reader series designed for African teenagers learning Chinese. Divided into six volumes (1-6), it follows the "International Standards for Chinese Language Proficiency Levels in Chinese Education" and references topics from secondary school Chinese teaching syllabi in several African countries and the "Happy Chinese" textbook. It features over 150 topics relevant to the daily lives of African teenagers, each including texts, vocabulary, and English/French translations. The reader series has three main characteristics: first, it starts from scratch, with precise leveling and a gradual progression; second, it offers diverse text types, engaging topics, and rich cultural content; and third, it is bilingual, richly illustrated, and highly practical.
