In the troubled times, only the partakers could tell the difference
between the meanings of fighting for the domination of the country or
cup to cup calls for song. Viewing the ancient Chinese history, there
was a tripartite confrontation of three kingdoms fighting fiercely with
each other in solemn and stirring scenes, the Eastern and Western Jin
Dynasties when celebrities were dissolute in Wuyi Lane that tempting
people to come to. The mutual confrontation for thousand years started
since the Southern and Northern Dynasties. This set of playing cards is
the second set in the series “Five Thousand Years in China --- A
Collection of Paintings by Chinese Emperors of Various Dynasties”, which
covers a time span of about 360 years, emperors from the Three
Kingdoms, the Eastern and Western Jin Dynasties and Southern Dynasties
are selected for the collection.
