HSBC sent three experts with rich banking experience to act as directors in Audit Committee, Risk Management Committee, Compensation Committee and Strategic Committee. On one hand the BOD of BOC built up quarterly evaluation and report system for internal control and risk management. On the other hand it also built up management system and work procedures for information disclosure and investor relationship management up to standards of international public banks.
