Kan Tu Shuohua was prepared as a supplementary oral training material for Chinese beginners in their 1st year of language study. The book takes one or a series of cartoon pictures as materials for students' oral practice in class, which includes the following parts in each lesson: picture recognition, phrase pronunciation, acting and retelling of the situation. This text is easy to use and can be used as a supplement to Hanyu Jiaocheng or as a standalone course.
