"China's counties (cities) Socio-economic Statistical Yearbook 2009" is a fully reflect the socio-economic development of China's county-level information on the status of the Yearbook is a collection of the 2008 county-level units in the country more than 2000 basic situation of the comprehensive economic, agricultural, industrial, investment, education, health, and social security information.
The information in this yearbook include the exception of Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province, other than counties (banners), county-level cities and city districts reported complete data, administrative division as of December 31, 2008.
The book mainly includes four parts, one county (city) Socio-economic key indicators; second sub-regional socio-economic basic conditions, including mountains, hills, plains, ethnic minority areas, land border counties, pastoral, semi-pastoral area, nine farmers area, grain and cotton producing counties, key counties for poverty alleviation and so on; three groups according to key economic indicators, including general budget according to local fiscal revenue, the per capita net income of farmers and food production and other groups; four main types of regional county (city) list.
