1 | He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, seest thou what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel committeth here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? | |
2 | When you see 'the abomination that causes desolation' standing where it does not belong--let the reader understand--then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. | |
3 | Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD, and because of these detestable practices the LORD your God will drive out those nations before you. | |
4 | You are not to eat any creature that moves about on the ground, whether it moves on its belly or walks on all fours or on many feet; it is detestable. | |
5 | And I will do in thee that which I have not done, and whereunto I will not do any more the like, because of all thine abominations. |
