胆石症是临床常见病、多发病之一,在中年女性中发病率高达20％-30％。中医治疗胆石症有悠久的历史,已积累了丰富的经验。特别是近十多年来,随着中医学的发展,使中医对胆石症的认识更加深入,治法不断扩充,疗效显著提高,为众多患者消除了病痛,免除了手术之苦,越来越受到人们的欢迎。为了弘扬中医药治疗本病的特色疗法,我们根据多年来运用中医药治疗本病的临床经验,并汇集有关文献资料,编撰而成。

全书共分上、中、下三篇。上篇着重介绍胆石症的概念、临床特征、诊断要点和中医学对本病病因病机的认识；中篇较详实地介绍胆石症的辩证治疗、单方验方、中成药、外治疗法、针灸疗法、推拿疗法、体育疗法、情志疗法、饮食疗法、摄生调护等中医特色；下篇介绍名老中医对该病的独特见解、诊治经验及临床验案。

本书内容丰富,简明实用,通俗易懂,是一部防治胆石症的临床参考书,充分体现了中医治疗胆石症的特色,可供中西医临床医师参阅。

The series of "An English-Chinese Guide to Clinical Treatment of Common Diseases" is compiled to assist foreign students to have a better study of clinical knowledge of TCM. The series also meet the need of Chinese doctors when they spread TCM for foreign practitioners. The series are scientifically-organized reference books which could generally reflect the updated development of clinic in TCM.

The series were written and compiled by medical professionals and English experts from 7 TCM universities or colleges including Nanjing University of TCM, Shanghai University of TCM, Guangzhou University of TCM, etc. The proposal was drafted in 1998. After 5-year continuous adaptation, the whole series were finally completed in 2003.

中医药防治糖尿病及其并发症已有两千多年历史,积累了丰富经验,独创了特色疗法。我们本着继承前贤成就、吸收现代研究、融会心得体会的原则编写此书,旨在弘扬中医特色疗法,造福于人类健康事业。

本书共分三篇。上篇着重介绍糖尿病的概述、诊断要点和中医学对本病的认识；中篇详细介绍中医药治疗糖尿病及其常见并发症的辨证治疗、常用中成药、单方验方、外治疗法、针灸疗法、推拿疗法、体育疗法、情志疗法、饮食疗法、摄生调护等特色；下篇介绍全国著名老中医施今墨、汪履秋、李良教授对糖尿病的独到见解、诊疗经验及临床验案。

本书内容丰富,文字叙述简明扼要,通俗易懂,实用性强,可供中医、中西医结合医务工作者及医学院校师生参考。

Lung cancer pertains to the concept of "lung stagnation" in TCM. TCM has accumulated rich clinical experience in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of this disease.

In recent decades, certain curative effect has been obtained in the treatment of this disease based on the differentiation of syndromes by means of TCM and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Such a treatment can alleviate suffering of the patients, prolong life and, in some cases, even clinically cure the patients. This treatment not only can partially eliminate and reduce tumor, but also can reduce the post-operational prolapse and metastasis as well as the side effects of chemical therapy.

高血压病是一种严重危害人类身体健康的心血管疾病。中医防治该病历史悠久,积累了丰富的经验。近20年来,由于融会、结合现代医学科学的研究成果,使中医对高血压病的认识更加深入、治法不断扩充、疗效逐渐提高。本书力图总结这些成就,突出中医特色优势,以期为高血压病的防治作出一点贡献。

全书共分上、中、下三篇,对高血压病的中医病因机制,辩证分型、治法方药、单方验方、中成药,以及敷贴法、薰洗法、药枕、针灸、推拿,乃至食疗、摄生调护,均作了详细的论述与介绍。本书还收集了部分名老中医对本病独特的认识、体会和治法,内容丰富,实用性强。

病毒性肝炎是由多种肝炎病毒引起的传染性疾病。主要分为甲、乙、丙、丁、戊和庚等类型,现在还发现第七　种肝炎病毒��TT病毒。病毒性肝炎具有传染性强、传染途径复杂、流行面广泛、发病率高、病程迁廷长等特点。临床上主要表现为食欲减退,恶心呕吐,肝脾肿大及肝功能损害等。各型肝炎中以乙、丙和丁型肝炎较易转为慢性化,甚则癌变。病变过程中少数患者可呈重症经过。

The ancient Chinese doctors had accumulated abundant knowledge of asthma and lots of experience during their clinical practice. Herbal treatment of asthma is becoming more and more popular due to its natural therapy, remarkable effect, and non-obvious side effects. Authors compile this book based on clinical practice and related documents in order to summarize the precious clinical experience of herbal treatment of asthma.
