This is Textbook 3 of A New Chinese Course series. There are altogether 13 lessons, including Social Issue (I), Social Issue (II) and Chinese Culture. Several characters (Ding Wenyue, Tian Zhongping, Linda, Susan, David, Wang Yunshan, Roger) run through the whole book. Each lesson is structured in the order of "text – new words – functions – notes –word study - reading comprehension". Appendix such as Vocabulary, Index of Word Study, Outline of Functions and Index of Grammar can be found at the end of the textbook.
