This course is intended for zero level learners of Chinese whose native language is not Chinese, and can provide them a step by step, yet quite rapid progress in oral Chinese. As a textbook in the series of Conversational Chinese, Conversational Chinese for Travellers has 16 lessons focusing on the theme of travelling and tourism. By expressing ideas in paragraphs, the learner will gradually capture a good command of Chinese -- both in fluency and in precision This series of textbooks has been tried out in the Department of International Exchange in Fudan University, with remarkable results.
