About the Author
Li Keyong is a journalist with the Xinhua News Agency and winner of the National May 1 Labor Medal. Born in Tangshan of Hebei Province in October,1974, he experienced the devastating earthquake in Tangshan when he was two years old and was rescued from its debris. In May 2008, he walked to the epicenter of the Wenchuan earthquake-the Yingxiu Township of Wenchuan County in Sichuan Province.
